Personal Stories of Palliative Care

Personal stories of palliative care are central to Palliative Care Week and to raising awareness of palliative care because they allow for a human connection that facts alone can’t achieve. When people share their own experiences, audiences can see themselves in those stories, making palliative care more relatable and its benefits easier to understand. These videos don’t just raise public awareness—they also serve as valuable educational tools, helping healthcare professionals, especially those in generalist settings, gain knowledge and insights into what palliative care involves and why it matters. We are so grateful to all those who share their stories with us each year.
